Propagata

I'm going to be honest, I had a hard time coming up with something work-safe for the Illustration Friday topic 'propagate'. Not that I'm in the habit of making dirty pictures or anything, it's just… propagate. Nudge nudge, wink wink.

This is a very interesting way to go. I love the goose stepping babies and squadron of cherubs. :) It makes me think of propaganda posters. I have a unit that I teach to upper level art students on propaganda poster design.

Thanks!

I have always been fascinated by propaganda and the art styles associated with it. I realized that the word 'propaganda' must come from 'propagate' (to spread or promote an idea etc…) and I knew what I had to do.

I probably should have wrote something like that in the original post.

great take on the prompt! Those babies are pretty sinister, and the angles and colours work perfectly. And thanks for visting my site. I too found it hard to avoid the 'nudge nudge' side of propagate!

This sort of reminds of the propaganda posters from the WWII ea....very "be patriotic and have babies". Creepy but poignant!
